Our social media giant client seeks a Product Marketing Manager to join their team in this 9 month freelance role!

This role will be 100% remote, but you must be based in the following approved location(s):

San Diego, CA

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Deeply understand small & medium-sized business requirements, market needs, and opportunities in order to collaborate with product, research and sales teams to shape go-to-market strategy
- Actively contribute to shaping the go-to-market strategy including partnering with product and engineering and guide cross-functional teams in developing messaging & positioning, channel marketing plans, customer communications, product documentation, case studies, internal sales enablement assets and sales collateral that resonate with the SMB persona and target market
- Ensure the right level of alignment, consistency and flexibility in approach across regional and vertical teams, with the goal of scaling impact while meeting market-specific needs
- Support post-launch product adoption growth efforts

The ideal Product Marketing Manager should possess the following:
- 10+ years of work experience, including 5+ years experience in marketing, consulting, communications, or internet technology, and experience contributing at both strategic and operational levels
- Demonstrated experience driving resolution in the context of competing perspectives and a track record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results
- Analytical, data driven decision-maker with experience using deductive reasoning to simplify and communicate complex issues
- Strong content marketing skills (ability to articulate value propositions and write/edit external-facing copy)
- Must have employed growth marketing tactics & run integrated global campaigns across digital marketing channels (email, social, display, content marketing, video, print collateral, partnerships) to drive performance
- Strong cross-functional skills with expertise working with sales and product teams to deliver marketing campaigns to businesses

Good To Have Skills:
- Design skills to be able to independently create marketing assets
- B2B SaaS background with SMBs
- Comfortable with data to manage and optimize campaigns
