As a creative staffing company, Creative Circle often collects relevant personal information in order to understand and respond to your employment needs. We know that this information is provided by you in good faith and we have taken many security measures to keep your personal information private and safe. However, there are many phishing scams taking place online where certain individuals will do whatever it takes to gain access to your personal information (including your bank and/or financial institution information). That said, we have some tips for protecting your identity and personal information.

We are an E-verify company, which means we use a secure online portal so you can complete your portion of Form I-9* online. We then ask you to bring the proper forms of ID to our office for your interview. (We will NOT ask for nor accept this information through email or text.) To securely send this information to you, as well as a link to our secure online pre-interview questionnaire, our Recruiter will ask you via phone for the last four digits of your Social Security number and just the month and day of your birth. During the interview process when you have officially been scheduled to meet with a Recruiter, you will be asked for the following information by either a Project Manager or Recruiter in person:

  • Two forms of valid ID for I-9* purposes
  • A signed Candidate Placement Agreement

In some cases, the interview may be conducted remotely – via Skype or phone – in which case we will NOT ask for your I-9* information until we directly confirm with you your first placement. Creative Circle does NOT set up Google Hangouts for Interviews.

We will NOT ask you for any additional unique identifiers nor institutional data until your first placement has been directly confirmed with you.

*Form I-9 is for U.S. candidates only.

Phishing scammers often pose as or pretend to be trusted resources and ask you for information that could act as the keys to your personal data. Please be aware that:

  • Creative Circle will never ask for banking or other personal information as part of the application process
  • Creative Circle does not set up Google Hangouts for Interviews

We advise you to:

  • Create complicated, unique, difficult-to-crack passwords
  • Never reuse a password
  • Update your passwords regularly
  • Not store passwords in your browser

Phishing scammers often send emails that include links and documents. Go with your gut and if you don’t trust it, don’t click on it. It’s easier to call your contact at Creative Circle to ask about an email than to spend hours removing a virus or canceling all of your credit cards.

Do not provide personal information, including bank account information, Social Security number, or other personal data to unknown individuals.

Creative Circle takes care to protect the security of the personal information you provide on our website. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) data encryption for all data transmissions over the Internet.
