Our Event Production client is hiring a Vice President, Live Events to join their team in Ohio.

The Vice President, Live Events is responsible for leading and managing the creative, technology and production departments and support groups. You will oversee client meetings and event operations for production efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources.
+ Operational management & resource allocation (60% of your time).
+ Team leadership & team building (10%).
+ Skill building & development (10%).
+ Meeting with clients, proposals and business development (20%).

The ideal Vice President, Live Events will have 10+ years of experience and:
+ A strong business mindset
+ Be a proven leader who can cultivate teams
+ Possess operational leadership experience, including hiring and training new staff
+ Experience managing a profitable live event department for a staging / production company.
+ Experience managing live event engineers and technicians on shows.
+ Experience managing the audiovisual technologies for corporate and special live events.
+ Experience managing set designers and riggers for live events.
