Our client, a prominent name in the food / beverage industry, is looking for a Director of Digital Marketing to join their team on a full-time basis!

This position will be onsite 3-4 days a week in Mission Valley.

Director of Digital Marketing Responsibilities:
- Develop digital marketing strategy, annual plan, roadmap, and performance targets
- Manage day-to-day execution to achieve sales, profit, ROI and KPI goals
- Drive full-funnel advertising campaign development (media and creative), execution, and performance reporting
- Lead e-commerce initiatives to increase sales, profit and brand affinity from the company website, app, and third-party marketplaces
- Design, build, and maintain social media presence
- Use a data-first, test and learn approach to develop and optimize marketing initiatives
- Continuously evaluate and improve MarTech stack
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies; provide thought leadership and perspective that leverages industry trends and best practices
- Collaborate with marketing agencies, online food ordering/delivery platforms, and technology suppliers
- Collaborate with brand marketing, loyalty, analytics, finance, operations, product teams, and franchise owner/operators
- Inspire and coach team of 4 direct reports

Director of Digital Marketing Requirements:
- 7+ years experience in digital marketing
- Relevant industry experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail, e-commerce, in a digital marketing agency, or on well-established CPG products
- Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing, advertising or related field. MBA or related Masters degree preferred
- Thought leader in e-commerce, SEO, paid digital advertising, and social media
- Strategic thinker who can define a compelling vision that bring together data analytics, consumer learning, trends, and business objectives
- Passionate about leveraging analytics to assess performance, and forecast sales and profit impact of efforts
- People leader who can inspire others, effectively manage a team of direct reports, and collaborate across functions and with agency partners
- Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Has a start-up mentality; strong sense of urgency, eager to problem solve, can work with a lean team and agency partners/vendors, brings a positive, can-do attitude
