Our client, a well-known wine & spirits company recently ranked a 2022 top workplace, is looking for an Account/Project Manager to join their team!You will work onsite in Stamford, CT, two days per week and from home the rest! Our client is within walking distance from the Stamford train station.

The ideal candidate will have agency experience.

The Account/ Project Manager Responsibilities:
-Manage all national program and ad-hoc program requests for a well known wine brand team, delivering on-time, error-free, and high-quality Marketing and Sales materials
-Responsible for the development, production, coordination of logistics for all POS, displays & premiums for the brand
-Collaborate cross-functionally w/ brand and legal to ensure consensus around project scope, timing, and legal viability
-Manage project request handoffs in Workfront and own the project development process from start to finish including project set up, timeline development, task allocation,
creative review, proof routing, approval, and final hand off
-Build expertise on the portfolio: product differentiators, competitive landscape, etc.
-Represent the wine's Brand team interests and Brand positioning/strategy to creative team.
-Help to evaluate and proof creative work and provide feedback for revision as needed
-Manage relationships with outside print & display vendors
-Negotiate pricing for specific programs/promotional items, find options to reduce cost and increase quality
-Manage coding & processing of all print & display invoices
-Set up meetings with necessary stakeholders, provide accurate agendas and precise, actionable meeting notes
-Responsible for a weekly status meeting with the team
-Record accurate weekly hours in the PM system
-Escalate potential problems and recommend solutions to address issues and improve processes
-Effectively and proactively communicate issues that can result in project cost or deliverable timing changes

The Account/ Project Manager Qualifications:
-2+ years of previous project management or account management experience with an established track record including experience working autonomously
-Previous agency experience preferred
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Experience working with printers & the production process
-Experience managing relationships with outside vendors through the sourcing of displays and premiums
-Problem-solving and proactive mindset
-Strong organizational and prioritization skills
-High energy, flexible team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
-Positive energy, can-do spirit, and a diplomatic & customer-service oriented attitude are a must!
-Must be a self-motivated individual who can identify issues/opportunities for improvement and be proactive in addressing them
