Our client, privately owned and managed financial services firm, is seeking an RFP Writer / Manager with strong project management skills to join their team as a full time employee.

The client is open to fully remote, but if you are able to work 2-3 days in their lower Manhattan office that is ideal.

The RFP Writer / Manager will:

- Be responsible for centrally managing RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and consultant databases (retail and institutional)
- Develop an ongoing process to have data and content updated regularly within the client's database by subject matter experts
- Streamline answers to RFP / RFI / DDQ requests ensuring content is well-organized, current, and compliant
- Draft answers for the non-standard responses for review by the Relationship Manager
- Complete client and prospect questionnaires and other types of information requests within the required timeframe
- Lead proposal post-mortem discussions, provide objective facilitation, and develop clear action plans
- Support the IMs overall business development and client retention objectives
- Scan public sources of information (consultant websites, industry publications) for new business opportunities
- Populate 3rd party databases with current data in a timely and professional manner
- Review and manage the tracking and reporting of RFP activity, consultant databases and competitive analysis for the purpose of evaluating productivity and gathering competitive/market research information

The RFP Writer / Manager must:

- Ideally have 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience with at least 1-2 years of RFP experience
- Previous financial services experience, specifically at an asset / investment management firm + knowledge of investments and financial products, is a plus but not required
- Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of Qvidian is a plus but not required
- Have exceptional writing and editing skills
- Have strong project management skills
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Have strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Knowledge of relevant compliance regulations is a plus
- Be able to work under deadlines and manage competing obligations
- Be self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work independently
- Be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
