Our Fortune 500 media client is looking for a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a 6 month contract. This position is fully remote and 40 hours a week.

Duties of the Communications + Marketing Coordinator:
- Gather information and create/update marketing/PR one sheets for distribution to authors, editors, agents, etc
- Process invoices, onboard new vendors, research payments, etc
- Assist with booking and executing consumer, trade, holiday ad promotions
- Research marketing and promotional opportunities - track tends for upcoming, franchisees, and series titles
- Enter text, creative specs, deadlines, etc in FileMaker Pro
- Enter marketing plans, metadata, etc into internal systems
- Fact check retailer sites ensuring correct pub dates, look inside, review, metadata, videos are correct and up to date
- Manage and track submissions for industry awards

Requirements of the Communications + Marketing Coordinator:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of marketing, publishing, communications experience
- Experience in marketing, digital or social media
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at one time
