Our national insurance broker is seeking a Marketing Technology Director to lead their fully-remote team that facilitates web and marketing technology initiatives.

As the Marketing Technology Director, you will need to be board room ready as this is a highly visible position who will be leading transformational discussions with the CEO.

The Marketing Technology Director MUST have web development and Salesforce Marketing Cloud CRM experience to qualify for this role. You will receive a detailed Job Description prior to interviewing. However, the core responsibilities for this position include:

- Website Governance.
- Salesforce and CRM.
- Data integration.
- Reporting and Documentation.

Marketing Technology Director Responsibilities:
- Launch digital innovation across all channels, including journeys, to reduce manual intervention.
- Set department vision and direct the work of four virtual team members.
- Influence senior leadership across teams regarding innovation, including approval and buy-in.
- Develop scalable marketing technology roadmaps, business requirements, process architecture
- Oversee development of modern email templates and testing
- Be the subject matter expert across SFMC, SF Interaction Studio, Adobe, and related software
- Ensure accurate integration and data exchange between Salesforce and internal/external services, providers, and related platforms
- Create dashboards and reports to simplify scheduled and ad hoc reporting.
- Identify, vet, negotiate, and collaborate with external website developers
- Build documentation library of best practices, tips, and collaboration profiles
- Develop scalable marketing technology roadmaps

Marketing Technology Director Requirements:
- BA degree in computer science/engineering, information science, or related field.
- 10+ years experience in marketing technology and/or sales-centric technology.
- Familiar with B2B industry digital marketing solutions, with insurance experience preferred.
- Experience leading a team
- Experience with web development and Salesforce Marketing Cloud CRM
- Hands-on executional experience in WordPress, Azure, and related platforms.
- Strong expertise with UX/UI including general coding, PHP, HTLM/CSS, JavaScript and mobile-responsive design.
- Ability to vet and implement third-party APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce from back-end integration to front-end execution.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, analytics platforms, and marketing automation
