UX Product Designer - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a leading global financial services company, is looking for a UX Product Designer to join their Investment Banking team for at least 6 months with the possibility to extend or go full-time.

The UX Product Designer will work fully remote to start but must be able to be onsite in NYC eventually.

UX Product Designer Details:
- experience on highly functional interfaces is key
- design with business objectives in mind
- the work is all B2B/client facing, not consumer facing
- mobile, email, internal portals and external outputs
- finance experience is helpful but not required
- not a visual design role - no UI design elements
- a true UX Generalist for data heavy design
- design problem solving experience is key
- design tools that add value and minimize complexity
- support 3-4 key projects at any point in time
- utilize and contribute to their design system
- regular engagement with stakeholders within the bank
- confidently translate business problems & requirements

The hiring manager won't be turned off by visual design in a portfolio but they also needs to case studies. What are the outcomes and the impact of the project?

The ideal UX Product Designer enjoys balancing craft with an academic interest in theory and science of Interaction Design, HCI, and human-centered design methodologies.

This is a freelance to possible full-time UX Product Designer opportunity, working on B2B facing deliverables with the goal of elevating the role of ‘Design’ beyond solving the complex design problems but also as a catalyst for product and service innovation!
