Project Manager - Intermediate - WFH during Covid-19

Our client is looking for a Project Manager with previous experience (ideally in the insurance or pharma space) to join their team for 6+ months. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment always seeking out innovative solutions.
NOTE: you will require ERC security clearance - so if you already have, let us know - otherwise, you can complete once selected for the role.

What you'll be doing as the Project Manager in this role:
- Guiding and supporting delivery for all assigned projects, including developing subject matter expertise in the business and relevant capabilities.
- Supporting Business Analysts/Consultants in understanding and communicating business aspirations and strategies.
- Developing effective partnerships with multiple stakeholders.
*Looking for experience with any of the following: web/mobile, web accessibility, backend/mainframe or projects that are multi-system.
- Depending on complexity of projects you will either own the whole project (small-med initiatives) or separate workstreams for larger initiatives.
- Providing leadership in the delivery and execution of all phases of assigned projects from initiation to closure, managing timelines, budget and scope for multiple concurrent projects.
- Developing comprehensive project plans that align scope, time, cost, quality, resources and risks with on-going monitoring of project execution for any deviations from the plan, invoking corrective action and contingency plans where necessary.
- Providing clear direction, ensuring access to required tools and removing barriers as necessary.
- Establishing effective project communications, ensuring that project delivery expectations are clearly understood and specified, and that information/updates are distributed in a timely manor to ensure stakeholder buy in and project success.
- Prioritizing and managing own workload and the workload of project team members in order to deliver against aggressive timelines.
- Building and maintaining detailed schedules and RAID logs.
- Ensuring that appropriate processes and techniques are being leveraged by project teams, identifying any necessary training or support required.

Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
Tools: Office suite focusing on MS Project and Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, eagerness to learn, self motivated and independent worker.
- Proven ability to influence others and understand/represent business priorities while making decisions.
