Media Strategist - Fully Remote/Off-site

Our agency client is looking for a Media Strategist to assist their team full-time for the next couple of months.

This will be Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, remote.

What you will be doing as a Media Strategist:
-Plan and work across all types of paid media, including digital, social and traditional
-Monitor both traditional and digital campaigns optimizing where necessary in order to meet client KPI's
-Attend client meetings and run point as needed on all paid media efforts, provide status agendas and follow-up correspondence
-Review and evaluate media proposals as needed
-Generate insertion orders for approved media plans
-Update all media flowcharts, budget and invoice reconciliation and plans as necessary
-Report to and collaborate with the Media Strategy Supervisor or assigned as strategic media point on client business, helping deliver goal-oriented outcomes.

What you need to know as a Media Strategist:
-Bachelor's Degree in advertising or related field or equivalent experience
-Minimum 3+ years' experience in paid media planning and buying
-Knowledge of agency research tools and systems such as: IMS, MRI, Scarborough, Nielsen, Media Tools, Google Ads, Advantage, etc
-Strong understanding of digital ad platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)
-Working knowledge of ad platforms (Google Campaign Manager, Google AdWords)
-Strong written, oral and effective interpersonal communication skills
