Video Producer - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a global financial services company, is looking for an experienced Video Producer to join their team for at least 9 months with the possibility to extend or convert to full-time, fully remote to start with the possibility of behind onsite in NYC.

Qualified Video Producers must have the ability to film video shoots, provide story boards and script outlines and be able to show samples of branded content and social media video work, ideally from a highly regulated industry like finance or pharma.

Video Producer High Level Details
• Most of the videos are typically? 2-3 minutes in length, social ones are 15 – 30 seconds
• They do a lot of brand videos for social media and also thought leadership videos, sizzle/highlight reels etc.
• Must be able to direct someone on camera, live and also on Zoom
• This team is remote until the fall; then some onsite NYC filming
• Manage an external production company to create animated videos
• Collaborate a lot, w/ writers on scripts or w/ ADs on video graphics
• Work w/ other 2 FT in-house editors and external production companies
• They use Workfront so experience with it is a plus

The Video Producer:
1. Is responsible for managing the entire process of treatments, proposals, scripting, shooting, and acquiring original video assets.
2. Is responsible for editing the components and preparing them for inclusion in the multimedia project.
3. Must plan, budget, schedule, and coordinate all resources needed for video production and editing. This is for domestic and on-location filming.
4. Usually joins the multimedia team during product conception. Early arrival of the video producer insures that multimedia conceptions are realistic and may be created.
5. Perform all phases of video production, including script research and writing, producing/directing, videography and post-production.
6. Assist in maintenance of production database and tape library system.
7. Must be able to synthesize highly technical information into well-received and understood messages supporting both business, marketing and training goals.
8. Must be comfortable in fast-paced, high-profile work environment.
9. Must be comfortable working with all levels of employees from manufacturing employees to executives.
10. Must be able to work within tight budget constraints (their projects are usually $5 – 25K each).
11. Must be able to manage multiple projects at a time, up to 5 total, of different sizes.
12. Needs to have technical competency ability to understand technical facets of platforms, networks, satellite and video conferencing.

Experience with editing on AVID; C300, FS7 cameras is a plus but not required.
