Our client is a B2B agency that specialized in the Healthcare Communications and is seeking a Account Director, hematology with advertising agency experience to join their team full time, onsite "post covid".

*Prior experience with Hematology. Eyecare is a plus. Must have a prior background at a healthcare advertising agency.

The Account Director owns the client relationship, drives the brand strategy and brand position, and manages the day-to-day operations. S/he is accountable for delivery of strategic and tactical initiatives to meet client business objectives on time and on budget, assisting in meeting or exceeding (agency) financial targets, and stimulates organic growth within the account.

- Continually researches the full landscape of treatment to identify marketing opportunities to fill the marketing communications gaps for the client to increase their ROI
- Capitalizes on the latest communication and promotional marketing techniques to create the most productive client marketing mix and return on investment proposal.
- Provides concise compelling communication via emails, RFPs, project briefs, PowerPoint decks, go to meetings,)
- Ensures all client Medical/Regulatory submission processes are correct.

Creative oversight: Ensures that agency creative team is provided with sufficient and timely client information to develop the marketing communications. (apps, brochures, email blasts, etc.) Ensures the creative is on strategy.

Finance: The Account Director fully owns the revenue and projections. Using Advantage software, ensures accurate, timely client billing. Monitors financial performance of accounts to maximize income generation. Understands client forecast/budget issues.
To be successful the Account Director, Hematology will have:

- Knowledge base of hematology
- Presentation skills
- Experience in budget development / management
- Ability to work independently as well as with direction
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, Advantage/ Webvantage
- 4-year college degree required
- 7+ years of experience in a healthcare ad agency
- Healthcare industry related experience a plus such as Eyecare / Oncology
- Managed Market experience a plus
