Financial Marketing Manager - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a global financial company, is looking to hire a Financial Marketing Manager for a 6 month freelance role, remote to start and onsite eventually when the office reopens (easily commutable by public transportation).

The ideal Financial Marketing Manager is interested in different financial services products and loves solving business challenges with marketing solutions.

Financial Marketing Manager Details/Duties:
– Work with business product managers to identify and build marketing programs that support an overarching marketing strategy that is aligned with business goals
– Partner with the creative team, communications and other internal teams to execute internal and external marketing communications, including sales literature, presentations, e-mail campaigns, direct mail and digital tools
– Draft creative briefs and provide insights to inform the development of marketing materials; ensure outputs are aligned with goals, messaging and positioning as identified in the brief
– Provide support in developing the overall marketing plans for Wealth Management (WM) USA Businesses
– Collaborate with project managers across the creative team to execute on all elements to meet deadlines and keep projects on schedule
– Interface directly with legal, compliance and principal review on marketing materials review
– Manage monthly legal and compliance filing and reporting process by ensuring all accurate approvals are accounted for and monthly report is approved
– Manage marketing material inventory, presentations, websites and other tools
– Track marketing budgets to ensure that spending remains on plan

Financial Marketing Manager Requirements:
– A four-year university degree
– 4 – 7 years of financial services marketing experience
– A basic understanding of financial services products and services
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
– A familiarity with the structure of banking wealth management
– Strong project management skills
– Knowledge of financial services, preferably the investment and wealth management businesses
– Excellent at written communications, and have the interpersonal skills necessary to develop strong relationships with business and execution partners
– Understanding of the creative process and ability to provide strategic insights
– Comfortable running multiple projects at the same time

This is a 6 month, 40 hour/week Financial Marketing Manager opportunity eventually onsite in Hudson County but fully remote to start.
