Our client, a major retailer, is in need of a results oriented CRM Analyst, Email who specializes in email lifecycle campaigns to join their team on a freelance basis, 40 hours a week, ongoing, with potential for full time.


The CRM Analyst Email is responsible for growing customer value utilizing email, social and any other active CRM channels through existing platforms used. This position will play a key role in developing the omnichannel CRM contact strategy and will work on execution of daily campaigns and plan one-to-one lifecycle programs.


The CRM Analyst, Email responsibilities:

- 30%- Executes and optimizes all assigned CRM life cycle management programs (triggered, transactional, loyalty and promotional campaigns) to ensure clarity of messaging and brand consistency; keep track of KPIs for measuring success against previously agreed upon channel objectives.
- Includes hands-on execution of email campaigns, segmentation and sends, go-live of campaigns, as well as ensuring clarity of messaging and brand consistency.
- 20%- Research & monitor competitor activities to ensure all email campaigns comply with current email best practice and log competitive intelligence to inform planning email briefs.
- 15%-Leverage marketing skills and customer insight data to make recommendations across customer touch points in assigned programs, including segmentation and A/B testing to confirm hypotheses.
- 20%- Manage email and digital vendors to optimize campaign efficiencies (4Cite, Bronto, Extole).
- 10%- Presents weekly, monthly, and yearly plans and results to leadership
- 5%- Leads Refer-a-friend and B2B programs
- 5%- Drive new email acquisition through paid media (FB) and enhanced on-site email capture capabilities (4Cite).

Preferred Qualifications for the CRM Analyst, Email:

- Practical experience managing digital channels
- Provide examples of prior Lifecycle campaigns / Email campaigns ( Transactional / Trigger or Welcome Series
- Previous eCommerce / retail experience
- Ability to showcase KPI success / YOY Growth ( Retention rates/ loyalty program etc)
- ESP ( Email Service Provider ) required ( Example Bluecore)
- Technical aptitude as it relates to back end connections
- Experience with Bronto and 4Cite preferred but not required (must have email marketing experience)
