UX Designer - WFH during Covid-19

Rate DOE, starting at $49/hour
Our client, a global financial services company, is looking to hire two experienced UX Designers for two freelance to full-time openings on their commercial banking payments team.

These roles will be remote to start but eventually must be onsite at their NYC office.

There are 3 other designers on the direct team and the role is very collaborative with those designers and also the content team, research team and business banking payment partners. For example, they do usability testing with the user research team once a month, getting feedback on the design.

UX Designer Details:
- At least 3 years of experience is required, ideally some experience coming from finance, banking or payment-related spaces working on user-centered products
- Create designs around complex spaces, such as payments or high volume bank statement reconciliation, for example (it's not a consumer facing product)
- Ability to make the complex simple via design
- Experience designing for an accounting platform or enterprise software is helpful
- Experience financial institution is a big plus
- The team is transitioning from InVision to Figma (no longer using Sketch either)
- Accessibility is a big focus for them so experience with creating ADA compliant designs is a big plus
- Deliver wireframes and work in Jira and with the dev. teams as needed
- They get different projects at different stages – some things are from scratch and some things are enhancements or adjustments to existing products
