Our client, a Higher Education Institution in New York, is seeking a Digital Asset Manager and Producer with Video production skills to join their team.

This role is onsite (Covid safety measures apply) with remote flexibility and you will need your own workstation.

If you have great organization, project management, and communication skills and are able to produce, film, and edit light video content, this role is for you!

The Digital Asset Manager and Producer will:
- Report to the Director of Web Communications and work closely with Marketing and Communications teams
- Uploading, organizing and archiving all video and photo assets in the digital asset management system
- Field inquiries from internal stakeholders and manage resourcing for freelance talent and interns
- Managing and maintaining all video equipment
- About 1x per month, Independently produce videos for various campaigns and Marketing needs.
- Film and edit video including story producing, transitions, special effects, graphics, narration, voiceover, background music, and use of brand standards (if you are capable, not necessary to have all of these skills)
- Contribute to script and interview question development and conduct interviews with students, faculty, staff and alumni.

The Digital Asset Manager and Producer will have the following qualifications:
- 3+ Years of experience producing videos
- Experience with asset management
- Experience filming and editing video
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premier, Lightroom a plus
- Basic After Effects and Photoshop abilities for video and photo editing
- Ability to craft a story
- Background in higher education or nonprofits, journalism, human interest, documentary, or corporate communications
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines while working independently
