Copywriter - Fully Remote/Off-site

Our client, a global publishing company, is looking to partner with a remote, freelance Copywriter for 2 years, roughly 10 - 40 hours a week, depending on workflow and their busy seasons (flexibility to attend occasional meetings is needed).

Qualified Copywriters must have digital writing experience, specifically writing web content and marketing content.

Experience writing articles and video scripts is a big plus but not required; the work will be a mix of various deliverables and mediums spanning print and digital.

Copywriter Details:
- Must be well versed in marketing copywriting (at least 3 years of copy experience)
- Must be able to pick up a brand's unique voice and tone
- Must be well versed in digital content creation
- Projects will include web pages, lead driving landing pages, brochures, direct mail, flyers, posters, emails, social media ads, thought leadership, and more
- Incorporate tools to ensure copy performs well from a search perspective
- Understanding how to optimize writing for strong SEO is imperative (they use Ahrefs but experience with any tool that helps optimize written content for best SEO is sufficient)
- Marketing communications / internal comms experience is a plus
- Strong editing skills are ideal
- A B2B background is helpful, to be able to switch up the voice from consumer to a business perspective
- Experience in/an understanding of regulated industries is helpful (for example, you can market to parents but not children so understanding the educational field / how to market to K-12 is helpful
