Our client is looking for their next Director of Marketing Strategy and Planning. This is a direct-hire opportunity!

In this role, you will:
- Develop marketing strategy and plans for clients across multi-channel campaigns, with a strong focus in direct mail
- Work with sales team to help with the pitch process for new clients, along with identifying campaign needs, creative changes that need to be made to make a campaign successful. This sales collaboration is more than what is done in a typical ad agency.
- Collect insights on target audiences for direct mail - behavior, demographic, psychographics from clients and third party vendors
- Provide insights and direction to the account team as it relates to their clients' target audiences
- Manage back-end analytics and campaign results reporting; Continually provide your recommendations on campaign optimizations back to the account and sales teams

The ideal candidate:
- 7+ years' leading marketing strategy for clients across cross-functional teams
- Direct mail experience** this is a nonnegotiable. This includes experience with mail matrix compositions, audience segmentation, and analytics.
- Agency experience
- Highly analytical; always thinking of what's best for the client and what will get their customers engaged
