Our client, a global financial services company, is looking to hire a freelance to full-time Omnichannel Copywriter who has strong digital experience.

The bulk of the work is digital but the ideal Copywriter has experience writing across all channels and disciplines; just this week the team was working on material for emails, ATM screens and window clings!

A financial background or even some pharma experience is helpful just to be used to the regulations in the industry and the restricted environment.

Candidates ideally have a broad range of financial experience since this teams works across various lines of business but the work will be focused on the credit card side at first.

Experience drafting video scripts is a nice to have/plus!

Omnichannel Copywriter Details:
• Minimalist writer mindset: how to be creative with copy in a small / restricted amount of space (work is mainly short form and long form for them is considered article or an email or quick little modules)
• Ideally a well rounded background: not just ad agency experience
• Understands how to tell a story – the hiring manager wants to hear writers talk about the work, even if it’s just 4 words on a page the writer needs to be able to articulate the purpose of the copy and why it fits the audience etc.
• Make things that seem nebulous stand out, especially when explaining portfolio
• Tone = friendly. This team's goal is to re-establish the voice of a well known B2C financial brand. Someone who doesn’t talk up or down, just a friendly voice and authentically human.
• Write quick and punchy but not at the expense of authenticity. If you wouldn’t say it to a friend out loud it probably doesn’t work!
• Articulate and defend creative decisions, take feedback and push beyond expectations
• Ability to manage the heavy lifting on the technical side of things in a fast paced in-house agency type environment
• Financial services experience isn't required but it's ideal so that the writer is used to their highly regulated industry (pharma or healthcare experience would suffice)

The Omnichannel Copywriter will write for all lines of business in all formats including: web, mobile, social, print, direct mail, posters, emails, retail signage, presentations, events, and video.

The majority of the content is consumer focused but the Copywriter must also must be able to write for B2B.
