Our national telecomm client is seeking a Content Strategist with B2B experience to join their team Full Time.

This position will require travel to their New Jersey office 1 day per week (a shuttle from the company will be provided).

IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE UX WRITING EXPERIENCE AND SHOULD UNDERSTAND HOW TO WORK WITH ENTERPRISE LEVEL WEBSITES.

The Content Strategist will join their growing business team to help them re-imagine their business content, starting with creating one unified digital content experience for the range of businesses they serve — from small/medium, enterprise, public sector, and wholesale as well as their growing portfolio of products and solutions.

The Content Strategist will work collaboratively with UX designers, visual designers and product managers to create experiences to help potential business customers discover and learn about their services and products — including mobile internet, point of sale products, cloud services, and productivity tools and devices. In addition to shaping products, you’ll shape process, coaching others in best practices and demonstrating the value of content strategy and UX writing in customer-centered experiences.

Content Strategist Responsibilities:
- Defining the content strategy for robust new digital properties.
- Unifying content management systems.
- Working closely with stakeholders to define and create content that is accessible, understandable, actionable and engaging.
- Leading internal content strategy work sessions and presentations.
- Defining and socializing content specifications outlining content components and guidelines to ensure a consistent experience across touch points, with attention to core product and related touch points (marketing landing pages, emails, direct mail, etc.)
- Defining objectives and success criteria for content, gathering and analyzing existing content, and identifying and implementing recommendations for improving content.
- Partnering with design researchers to propose content research initiatives, define research goals, create research stimuli and translate findings into plans of action that drive refinements.
- Partnering with IT to understand technical implications of content and help implement content accessibility standards.
- Acting as UX writer for their business.

REQUIREMENTS:
content strategy experience, preferably with a background in large-scale, enterprise site redesigns
- 2+ years of UX writing for a range of web and mobile experiences
- Experience with content strategy practice, including enterprise site redesigns
- B2B experience required
- Stakeholder management experience
- Agile or other sprint-based project experience
- Knowledge of Sketch, Invision and related design tools.
- Abilities in secondary areas including UX design, visual design, research, information architecture is nice-to-have
- Knowledge with human-centered design methodologies, empathy for end users, and passion for teaching and learning from others to shape process and culture.
