Our client, an agency who produces live events for large global clients is seeking a freelance Graphics Operator to join their team.

- Operate graphics computers during rehearsals and live shows (ballroom and conference-style events) while executing changes (design & text) as appropriate
- Read and follow show flows/show rundowns and listen to stage manager/show caller cues
- Check spelling and graphics formatting prior to live events; communicate errors in pre-created graphics to relevant colleagues and correct errors
- Create graphic templates (PPT or Keynote)
- Work closely with all on-site personnel including other operators (graphics, teleprompter, video and more), clients, and freelancers; keeping them updated frequently and responding to their requests in a timely and proactive manner
- When not on-site as Graphics Operator, act as Graphic Designer in-office, designing graphics and making changes to PowerPoint decks (note the on-site role is the primary focus of this position)
- Understand the relationship between PPT or Keynote decks in correlation with various playback systems and how content will look on screens
- Playback systems the graphics computers would feed to include: Playback Pro Plus, WatchOut, Millumin, D3

- 3+ years’ experience as a Graphics Operator, working on live events (eg ballroom, conferences)
- Strong experience running current / next graphics on-site, coming from multiple sources – knowledge of programs timing, content and flow
- Expertise in PowerPoint, KeyNote and Adobe Photoshop; a strong working knowledge of Excel in regard to charts, graphs and tables
- Demonstrated experience working on large live events under stressful conditions
in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; an ability to articulately and efficiently convey messages during live events to colleagues, freelancers and clients
- A working knowledge of the various roles on-site, involved in producing live events
- A current passport and valid government issued ID for domestic and international ravel

PLEASE NOTE: This role requires extensive travel; travel is primarily domestic in the US but limited international travel may be required. Applicants should only apply if they are open to heavy on-site travel.
