Our client, a leading franchise corporation, needs to hire an experienced Digital Product Marketing Manager for a brand new role on their in-house Marketing Team!

This is not a technology role nor is it hands on with tech teams or delivering against a software roadmap. Our client defines a product role as product marketing and how to bring a product to market via digital channels (customer support strategies, managing delivery, etc.). There is intersection with someone else who manages the roadmap of the product platform.

There is a small but critical P&L component! This role is highly accountable so that's why experience delivering a strategy from a revenue/P&L perspective is critical.

The hiring manager is hoping to see experience from a digital first environment managing large projects across multiple stakeholders, franchises and corporate needs. An understanding of the B2C cadence is helpful.

The Digital Product Marketing Manager will lead multiple new product initiatives, coordinate multiple stakeholder groups involved in the product lifecycle, provide research and analysis with competitive products, evaluate emerging opportunities, support the Vice President of Digital and define business requirements to create the best possible user experience across our client's portfolio, including their online consumer platform.


Digital Product Marketing Manager Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in startup environment and possess an entrepreneurial spirit
• Enthusiasm for every phase of product development – from strategy and conceptualization, to feature definition, working with a cross-functional project team, and launch
• Experience with A/B testing, Google Analytics and other analytics tools
• Experience with SEO best practices
• Experience with campaign analytics
• Experience working in an environment with multiple vendors and technology providers


What is required for success in this role? The ability to build processes to solicit and manage stakeholder input, communicate status of initiatives and priorities, and manage against multiple priorities.


Digital Product Marketing Manager Requirements:
• BA/BS, Graduate degree preferred
• Minimum 6 years work experience in product marketing or related field
• Knowledge of web technologies and understanding of various a project management methodologies including Agile
• Ability to write clear and concise project documents
• Proven track record for building or managing products or product initiatives from ideation to launch to operation (including budgeting)


There are no direct reports but managing a team of shared resources and specific vendors is required.

Their office (Hudson County) is very easily commutable by public transportation and from NYC.
