Our client, a tech company in the B2B space, is looking for a Content Specialist to join their team Full Time - starting as soon as possible!

This is a direct hire opportunity, with benefits. Work will be done onsite in Boston 5 days/week.

As the Content Specialist you will work alongside the company's Global Marketing and eCommerce teams, to craft relevant and inspiring stories that compel action from targeted customer segments. Serving as the subject matter expert, you will be tasked with content development and project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:
- Write informative, interesting and useful content for blogs, websites/landing pages, video, email campaigns, social, as well as sales and marketing training and collateral materials. You should be well versed in crafting subject lines, titles, etc. to compel readers to take action
- Contribute to editorial calendar by generating new content ideas and finding compelling ways to connect with prospective customers
- Produce best-in-class top-of-funnel and mid-funnel assets that generate lead pipeline
- Develop a consistent tone of voice that avoids jargon, makes complex subjects simple, and compels leads to take action
- Incorporate basic SEO principles and best practices
- Ensure all collateral pieces are researched, developed and proofed before publishing deadlines
- Proofread own copy and cross-team proofreading

The IDEAL Content Specialist will have:
- Bachelors degree and relevant experience in: Business Administration, Marketing, Writing, Literature, Product Management, and/or Content Marketing, etc.
- 2+ years experience in paid content writing
- Ability to turn data and technical information into short, medium and long form pieces
- Experience managing an editorial calendar and publishing tools
- Ability to influence media metrics with organic content
- Basic understanding of engagement and traffic metrics
- Strong project management and prioritization skills
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools
