Our Manufacturing client is seeking a full-time Marketing Research Analyst to join their team.

The Marketing Research Analyst will help shape the growth strategy of our client and their divisions by analyzing and interpreting market data that informs strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Leverage market intelligence to define macro trends that are shaping the manufacturing industry
- Conduct secondary research using Global Data and market intelligence reports/studies. Synthesize research and articulate how insights offer opportunity for the business to drive actionable results
- Search as the lead to the divisions and as a contributor to conducting primary research from voice of customer to competitive interviews, anthropology events, customer surveys and focus groups. Drive actionable results.
- Analyze and triangulate data from multiple sources to estimate addressable equipment size opportunities that would inform product development plans or provide actionable sales direction
- Leverage the insights of customer facing teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Line Leaders) along with market research to penetrate existing markets and tap into new strategic markets
- Research new sources for industry data that could be used to assess relevant market sizes, growth rates and competition

Top Criteria of Marketing Research Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or relevant with quantitative analysis experience, MBA preferred
- 2+ years experience in similar marketing role
- Market research experience at Manufacturing company, in-house or client at agency preferred, or B2B experience
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to work with large and diverse sources of data like market sizes and CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) growth
- Proficient in Excel, pivot tables
- Market intelligence tools like GlobalData, Euromonitor, Mintel PMMI (Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute)
- Ask, listen and synthesize viewpoints from multiple stakeholders
- Market analysis and voice of customer experience
- Self motivated, independent and resourceful
