Junior WordPress Web Developer - WFH during Covid-19

Rate $50,000 - $65,000 salary, depending on experience
One of our agency clients is looking for a Junior WordPress Web Developer with 2-3 years of WordPress experience starting in April 2021 in Full-Time position.

- The Junior WordPress Web Developer must be driven, innovative, and eager to learn / grow
- The role will be remote, but will eventually go back on-site into the Nashville office so you will need to plan accordingly

Junior WordPress Web Developer Responsibilities:
- Manage our 25+ client websites as well as our custom built plugins
- Build or rebuild client websites from end-to-end in WordPress using customizable themes based on mockups provided by in-house designers
- Update content, create custom functionality, and create custom layouts / styles for client websites
- Manage our development and production hosting servers, and maintain and improve our in-house developed plugins and tools
- Execute client requests (such as content or stylistic changes) for website updates as needed
- Continually explore opportunities to optimize and improve client websites (SEO, CRO, loading times, schema markup implementation, security audits, etc.)

Junior WordPress Web Developer Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience building custom WordPress themes and/or plugins
- Proficiency and understanding in HTML, CSS, Sass or Less, PHP, JavaScript / jQuery (Vue, React, etc.), Git
- Skilled in WordPress with Advanced Custom Fields
- Understanding of SQL and how to perform database queries
- Understanding of SEO best practices and how they pertain to development (heat maps, etc.)
- Agency experience OR multiple website management is required
