Digital Ad Ops Specialist - Hybrid

Our advertising agency client is looking for a Digital Ad Ops Specialist to join their team!

The ideal candidate has broad overarching knowledge of the digital media environment spanning across buying, planning, campaign management and execution in an agency environment.

This will eventually be a onsite 2-3 day per week role in Culver City.

- Understand the business goals of agency's clients, their customers and translate that knowledge into an effective ad tracking, tagging and trafficking strategy
- Develop and implement processes and ensure the agencies’ digital ad-op capabilities remain competitive in the industry
- Work with Media and Analytics teams to align campaign goals with measurement tagging strategy, ensuring digital tracking is in place to measure quantifiable metrics and attribution models
- Work alongside data partners and technology team to define requirements and make recommendations that ensure seamless workflow and consistency in reporting processes
- Perform QA
- Troubleshoot tracking-related issues, analytics reporting/delivery discrepancies and implementation
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and recommended implementation plan
- Prioritize requests from multiple stakeholders, create project plans, determine level of effort, and keep to milestones within the plans


Digital Ad Trafficking:
- Extensive knowledge with digital ad trafficking within ad server platforms DCM and/or Sizmek.
- Experience managing dynamic and rich media ad units within ad server platforms.

Tag Management:
- Extensive knowledge of set-up and deployment of tracking within a tag manager platform such as GTM. Tracking architecture and tag code provided by Media group.
- Ability to create tags, triggers and work with web dev team on data layer and pass-back of dynamic variables.

Platform Interconnections:
- Knowledge of conversion tracking, audience pixels and interconnection of marketing platforms (Google Ads, Bing, Facebook, Pinterest, TradeDesk [Programmatic], SalesForce) with GTM and GA.
- Ability to set up and trouble-shoot tracking and data pipeline between platforms.
- Ability to monitor and maintain up-time of interconnections.
- Experience working within constraints of FB iOS 14.5, CCPA/GDPR and HIPPA rules and regulations.
- Familiarity with how APIs function in context of interconnection of platforms and data pipeline.
