Content Marketing Manager

Our technology client is looking for a content marketing manager to join their team! This role will begin as a freelance opportunity, 40 hours per week, but will convert to FTE for the right candidate. The client would also consider a direct hire from the beginning for the right person. This role is fully remote.

In this role you will:
- develop and execute creative marketing programs, campaigns and promotions across digital channels including email marketing, social media, blog, etc. to drive brand awareness
- establish and maintain an editorial calendar, content roadmap and associated workflows
- collaborate internally and with external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and audience
- manage the blog by developing compelling content
- manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- use email marketing campaigns to drive engagement
- create stories through compelling imagery and copy
- develop an influencer network and facilitate the client's story through the voice of the customer
- source and develop content sponsorships and/or partnerships that enhances brand awareness and/or conversion
- create, deploy and measure campaign success
- align content with organizational goals and develop strategic content to guide prospects across each stage of the conversion funnel
- build and analyze key metrics and traffic patterns to measure performance of marketing programs and across the customer lifecycle focusing on SEO and customer acquisition goals
- track and measure keyword research to guide content strategy
- drive SEO performance through the use of SEO tools and tactics by evaluating web pages, organic search traffic, landing page quality, and content
- develop and achieve goals for organic traffic/conversions

The ideal content marketing manager will have:
- samples of professional content to share (copy, video, photo, etc.)
- the ability to create original, social video content
- excellent story telling capabilities. writing and editing website content
- experience in acquisition and engagement marketing
- social media experience including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and LinkedIn
- experience using email marketing tools
- fluency in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), including content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
- experience using web analytics, A/B Testing, social media tools, and other marketing tools

Bonus experience:
- tradeshow event marketing
- photography and video editing
