Our boutique agency client is looking for a well networked Event Producer who values DEI and the local Bay Area communities to help support their team!

Role will kick off at ~3 - 10 hours/week depending on pipeline and event schedule. Expectation is to be onsite occasionally and for events. Potential to ramp up depending on fit!

Skills/Experience:
- At least 2+ years as a hands-on event producer; managing client relationships and vendors from soup to nuts in an agency setting
- Can share in detail, how you've managed, set up and taken down events including chatting through successes and challenges
- Has worked with catering, AV/lighting, decor, furniture, creative (videographers, photographers) vendors
- Must have strong experience in G-Suite and strong communication skills including captivating writing chops
- Proven ability in working in a fast paced environment including staying organized, focused and able to help clients work thru ambiguity and changing priorities
- Preferably has worked on events for non-profits and/or DEI focused initiatives

This Event Producer will be:
- Event planning from managing clients, vendors & venues, working with designers on assets including swag
- Ensure deliverables are on track for deadlines, scheduling meetings, take notes on meetings, and follow up with updates and action items via Clickup
- Overseeing event design and budgeting, events day-of coordination including clean up and vendor load out
- Facilitating event design & layout creation, including designing spaces for ideal attendee experience
- Creating marketing copy/content for events including impact-focused blogs after each event with photo wrap ups
- Coordinating event permits with various city agencies (will be provided training)
- Capturing key moments and shots for events on IG stories
- Conducting research, planning, and outreach for events, venues, vendors and stakeholders
