Our social media giant client seeks a Event Producer to join their team in this 12 month freelance role!

This role will be 100% remote, but you must be based in the following approved location(s):
Fremont, CA
Baltimore, MD
Boston, MA
Houston, TX
Los Angeles, CA
San Diego, CA

The Event Producer will be responsible for the following:
- Event Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement Lead for flagship internal events
- Manage planning meeting calendars, meeting minutes and pursue follow ups
- Strategic partner on the planning steering committees, provide input into overall event goals, key messages, and engagement metrics
- Support internal communication strategy for collateral development, wiki pages, event planning deliverables
- Maintain detailed database of events planned by region, team lead, and priority topic
- Streamline outreach communications with regional employee groups and individual employee inquiries
- Liaise with team to coordinate event space reservations, speaker prep, and event rehearsals
- Lead metrics collection and lessons learned process for post-event debrief with content creators, speakers, and participants. Help develop presentations and visuals of KPIs and engagement numbers.
- Develop repository of external resources for employees seeking to be engaged on climate and sustainability topics
- Create peer benchmark of employee engagement courses at peer companies
- Support content development of with key SMEs; map out how this content aligns with existing internal training content developed by partner teams
- Coordinate integration of course materials into system
- Provide technical support for launch of course and KPIs
Internal Engagement Partner Support
- Support cross functional calls with employee groups and facilities teams
- Provide new ideas for employee engagement activities and internal communications deliverable

The ideal Event Producer should possess the following:
- 6+ years of advanced project management experience across diverse teams and functions in an academic or work environment
- Background in organizing and executing major virtual and hybrid events strongly preferred
- Experience in developing and/or launching education content related to climate, sustainability, or social impact to
- Proven experience delivering results through personal leadership and influencing others; demonstrated agility in a fast paced work environment a plus
- Strong listening and stakeholder engagement experience, proven ability to integrate diverse partner inputs into a cohesive and inclusive strategic plan
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly changing project priorities
- Ability to work across time zones to support virtual teams
