Our social media giant client seeks a Product Marketing Manager to join their team in this 6 month freelance role!

This role will be 100% remote, but you must be based in the following approved location(s):
Menlo Park, CA
San Francisco, CA
Seattle, WA

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new Commerce features, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to determine effective launch strategies, including rollout sequencing and creative asset development, and communication goals to drive key metrics.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to conduct research to understand consumer needs, influence the product strategy, and secure alignment across teams
- Be at the forefront of Commerce trends by conducting market analysis and competitive benchmarking, and translating learnings into actionable insights to shape the product roadmap and marketing plans
- Evaluate opportunities for product education to help raise awareness and consideration of new commerce features
- Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset, and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems
- Be willing and able to flex between strategic and tactical/executional responsibilities

The ideal Product Marketing Manager should possess the following:
- 8+ years of professional experience with 4+ years experience working in consumer marketing
- Experience in e-commerce
- Experience in product marketing or equivalent function (partnered with product management and/or engineering to represent market requirements)
- Experience partnering with complex cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders with proven project management skills
- Effectiveness working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fluid environment
- Experience developing clear messaging and content for multiple audiences
- Experience partnering with research teams to conduct and analyze qualitative and quantitative research to inform product strategy
- Experience conducting market research to develop actionable insights
- Experience with go-to-market launches
