Our client, one of the largest software companies in the Bay Area, needs a Animator + Motion Graphics Designer (Social Media) to join their team for 3 months, 40 hours/week!

In this exciting opportunity the Motion Graphics Designer will join the team responsible for all social channel digital assets to create animations that will be used on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube to promote their Dreamforce Salesforce event in September (6 total events).

Key Factors:
1. Visual eye for layout and balance
2. Basics of graphic design 2D flat pieces, characters - animate those for social media content to promote their upcoming Dreamforce Events in September.
3. Illustrator and After Effects

The Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for:
- Working within brand guidelines to create campaigns on social media channels
- Working on project stages from concept, through design development, production, and final execution
- Designing social-first animated creative for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Instagram Stories
- Collaborating with a team of copywriters, project managers, and other creative teams

The ideal Motion Graphics Designer has the following experience:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Creative software tools for animation (especially Adobe Suite After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), knowledge of apps commonly used for creating social content; basic video creation/editing skills are a bonus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a collaborative, dynamic, fast-paced work environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong understanding of popular social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
