Our client, a global agency supporting many well known brands, is looking to hire a full-time eCommerce Strategist who will focus one of their CPG clients.

eCommerce Strategist Responsibilities:
• Provides dedicated client support, as well as supports flexible, ad-hoc projects and new business opportunities
• Works with Strategy, eComm, and broader colleagues to continually refine our client’s way of designing and leading strategic practices and activities, with client-specific adaptations
• Maintains an up-to-date (and into-the-future) view on eComm, digital marketing, and content best practices, incorporating owned (eg. organic social, website, eCRM, SEO), and paid (eg. paid social, OLA/OLV, eCommerce, SEM, influencer) platforms, media, and channels
• Works closely with platform providers to drive strategic and content recommendations for activation in 3rd-party environments, including media networks, digital publishers, social platforms, and eCommerce partners
• Partners with SEO, SEM and Analytics counterparts to drive discoverability and accountability of content and properties
• Adds strategic value to integrated go-to-market planning, based on understanding client business and marketing objectives, brand positioning and content strategy, audience behavior, media usage and opportunities, and performance measurement, analysis and optimization
• Develops and presents integrated strategies (eg. brand, marketing, journey, content) to clients and new business prospects, aligned to the creative and activation recommendations
• Contributes to strategic and executional excellence across all content execution, working in close partnership with creatives, producers, account leadership, and clients to ensure work achieves business and brand objectives
• Promotes continual strategic and creative improvement, and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability
• Develops and maintains solid client relationships up through the senior-most level
• Mentors and leads junior strategy staff through critique and coaching to integrate best practices, maintain consistent standards and quality

eCommerce Strategist Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience (or demonstrated competency) on the client, agency, or publishing side, with emphasis on leading a brand’s strategic approach to content strategy and asset development, social and influencer activation, eCommerce, brand website
• Ability to create plans, presentations, and other documents that clearly communicate strategic recommendations, supported by data, research, and best practices in consumer experience design
• Ability to see the big picture, determine the right course of action, delegate responsibility to the right people, allocate the right resources
• An understanding of the omnichannel evolving landscape
• Demonstrated success in inspiring creative ideas
• Ability to standardize and adapt best in class content
• Natural, respectful collaborator across all departments and functions
• High level of professionalism and expertise that instills respect and appreciation
• Articulate, persuasive presenter
• A passion for guiding adoption of forward-thinking marketing approaches and techniques, through the lens of business innovation and successful outcomes

This is a full-time eCommerce Strategist opportunity that is remote to start but eventually onsite in Cincinnati.
