Our social media giant client seeks a Technical Writer to join their team in this 6+ month freelance role!

In this role the Technical Writer will assist with writing for instruction manuals, training materials, and other documents in a manner that is digestible to a nontechnical audience.

The Technical Writer will be responsible for the following:
- Writing instruction manuals and other documents in a way that will communicate complex, technical information in nontechnical language
- Assisting in maintenance of existing documentation
- Writing technical training materials including self guided training
- Gathering and researching information for use in technical documentation
- Scheduling and meeting with partners to obtain updates for technical documentation
- Required reading related to technical processes and technological terms that are being used within the organization
- Maintaining records and files of work & revisions

The ideal Technical Artist should possess the following:
- Experience in Tech Writing
- Understanding of HTML, web page formatting, and the ability to create eye appealing content
- Basic knowledge of web page development and editing
- Ability to observe technical processes, understand them, and relay the information in a concise and effective way
- Can work on Mac and Windows OS
- Uses word processing software, Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, etc.
- Experience with creating training materials via Articulate
