Our tech client needs an Information Specialist to join their team for a 2 month contract, onsite in Santa Clara for 40 hours/week. Potential to extend for the right fit!

The Information Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and determine project needs.
- Identify relevant data sources; gather information through surveying, research, and direct outreach to sales team members.
- Enhance processes to be more efficient and effective for data collection and data maintenance.
- Continuously update database records with new relevant data sources.
- Design survey and collection methods that are efficient and close-looped.
- Work with internal programmers to build, enhance, and maintain multiple databases.
- Write and tailor testing procedures to each unique sample group.
- Prepare summary reports and communicate regularly with project stakeholders on progress of data collection, product enhancement requests, and more.
- Partner with others to help implement solutions and drive user adoption.
- Maintain full confidentiality with all client and participant information.

The ideal Information Specialist should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or technical field
- 5+ years of data project experience, including collection, design, and analysis
- Ability to create, manage, and drive projects and processes - A strong track record of project delivery for cross-functional projects
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well under pressure and minimal supervision
- Keen eye for detail
