The Bay Area's best-known search engine giant is seeking a Interaction Designer to assist their team.
Top Responsibilities:
-Transform foundational research insights into concepts that can be tested in the field (in partnership with UXR), communicate findings with partner teams.
-Produce conceptual, clickable prototypes (low-fi or high-fi) that are both practical and ambitious.
-Drive product change and develop new product directions rooted in a system-level understanding of the product ecosystem, user insights and business opportunities.
Ideal Qualifications:
-6+ years of relevant experience required.
-Past experience designing for a field that addressed marginalized communities / characteristics (i.e. accessibility, low literacy, low income).
-Experience working in engineering-, pm-, and/or metrics-centric environment.
-Comfort quickly ideating multiple design solutions, both MD compliant and futuristic, based on research findings.
-Experience prototyping / creating basic clickable prototypes and websites (e.g. with CSS/JS).
