Our Fortune 500 client is looking for a Communications Manager to join their team over the next 12-18 months.

This candidate will need to be local to Phoenix as they will occasionally have team meetings at their hub location.

As a Communications Specialist you will be developing high impact, strategic internal communications to build awareness, adaptation and engagement of the companies behaviors and agile values to facilitate a high-performance culture across the company.

What you will be doing as the Communications Manager:
-Develop and execute communication change management programs that broadly communicate with the company's ambitious and clear vision
-Translate the companies story to all audiences to ensure the company culture is embodied across the organization through various mediums (videos, blog posts, emails, social, etc)
- Work collaboratively with project teams and key stake holders to build compelling and engaging employee communications that showcase successes and findings
- Write, edit, coordinate creative/design and deliver a variety of communications materials for multiple channels and broad audiences with differing access to technology including blog posts, videos, articles, emails, etc.
-Serve as communications partner, providing feedback and recommendations to project teams to help develop user experience strategies and change management plans, including deployment
-Collect and use analytics to make informed decisions about content and storytelling and deliver on measurable goals aligned to specific project goals
-Facilitate presence of transformation communications on company intranet by crafting a compelling, easy to consume library of content for employees

What you need to know as a Communications Manager:
-Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communications or similar field or equivalent
-7+ years of relevant experience in change management /transformation communication, developing and managing compelling, innovative and engaging content and communications campaigns
-Ability to confidently and effectively communicate with employees and leaders throughout the organization and with other diverse audiences
-Can understand and translate complex technical subject matter
-Comfortable working with sensitive information and overseeing high-visibility projects and processes
-Curiosity to learn and translate, ability to to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced company
-Excellent command of grammar and knowledge of AP writing style
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a multi-location organization with multi-national/global communications and mining, natural resources or similar industryis a huge plus
