Marketing + Event Specialist

Calling all marketing specialists who have experience with event marketing! Our manufacturing client is looking for a marketing specialist to join their team full time.

This is direct-hire role that will be onsite five days per week. There will be travel required domestically and internationally for various trade shows, a passport is required.

The marketing specialist will be responsible for:
- Supporting all marketing initiatives for domestic and global trade shows and other events (16 trade shows per year).
- Conceptualizing and working with a design team to create digital and print creative graphics and literature projects including but not limited to brochures, sell sheets, infographics, white papers, and PowerPoint decks
- Booking venues, lodging, and ground transportation for events as needed and touring event venue locations, and conducting final inspections of venues
- Traveling to tradeshows, setting up, tearing down, cleaning up, and providing maintenance as needed before, during, and after events
- Performing research about events and entertainment, including comparing vendor prices to organize and maintain budgets
- Creating and maintaining vendor and venue relationships, through communicating with vendors, entertainers, photographers, etc., throughout the event planning process to liaison, process orders, etc.
- Coordinating with inside sales team on sales prospecting activities and performance tracking efforts
- Producing content for social media accounts specifically for LinkedIn

The marketing specialist must have:
- 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing environment and a Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, etc.
- Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent negotiation, project management, and organizational skills
- Experience working with external teams and ability to manage external relationships with a diverse set of partners
- Experience with content management, marketing principles, marketing events, etc.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel.
- Ability to learn quickly and learn industry
