Calling all digital marketers who are well versed in social media, paid media and content strategies! Our agency client is looking for a digital marketing strategist to join their team.

This is a direct-hire role that will either be fully remote or hybrid based on where candidate is located. If candidate is fully remote, some travel may be required.

The digital marketing strategist will be responsible for:
- Developing online content marketing strategies that include: social, search, website and email.
- Building and managing online media that includes: display, social, SEM, Native, remarketing/retargeting and video ads.
- Creating messaging frameworks, communication plans, content calendars, posting schedules and platform engagement.
- Conducting competitive landscape assessments and developing personas, journey maps and strategic territories that inform various aspects of digital strategy and identify opportunities to optimize and scale performance.
- Using data to provide meaningful insights that improve strategy and creative.
- Routinely identify and report on emerging trends (client industries, social, digital and culture) to increase consumer relevance and deepen competitive edge.
- Staying current on key legal aspects of social media management and content creation to ensure compliance (copyright, privacy, contest rules, etc).

The digital marketing strategist must have:
- 3 - 5 years experience in digital marketing; some agency experience required
- Experience with: Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn, and display networks as well as Google Analytics.
- Bachelors degree in advertising, marketing, or other related field
- Experience with a wide range of categories including CPG, food/beverage/ wine/spirits, technology
- Familiarity with Keynote, Apple OS, Microsoft Office
- Proven expertise in developing innovative digital strategies with tactical execution that breaks through and achieve results
- Working knowledge of keyword research; SEM/SEO tools like: Moz, SEMrush, AHRefs, Spyfu.
- Familiarity of e-comm marketing (both DTC and marketplace).
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate and present strategies.
- Well-rounded digital marketing skillset and skilled in in social media, paid media and content strategies
- Ability to be comfortable being client facing
- Deep understanding of digital landscape: social, eComm, content, email, media, etc.
- Passion for brands and consumers
