Video Host / Content Writer - WFH during Covid-19

Our global electronics client in Plano is looking for a Video Host with writing skills! This freelance assignment starts July 12 for at least 6 months, 40 hours per week, with possibility of extension. This role is remote until COVID restrictions are lifted.

The Video Host/Content Writer writes engaging tutorial content for video and is comfortable recording voiceovers and appearing on camera for videos for the client's social media and web channels.

Video Host/Content Writer Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or 2 - 3+ years' experience
• Video production experience to write effective scripts
• Familiar with basic audio recording principles for voice
• Writing examples (creative or technical)
• Editing and or videography reel or examples a plus

Video Host/Content Writer Responsibilities
• Re-work technical language (ie. user manuals) into smooth, explanatory voiceover and text for video
• Translate existing scripts or outlines into shooting scripts
• Provide strong on-camera presence & voiceovers
• Aid senior team camera assistance and video editing
• Upload videos to YouTube with titles, description, tags
• Proactively drive conversations to get needed information
• Work and provide updates on multiple projects
