Our government contractor manufacturing client in Fort Worth is looking for a Video Editor! This FREELANCE assignment starts the week of August 24, and will continue (40 hours per week) for at least 6 months.

The ideal Video Editor is technically skilled, with experience creating professional, high-impact video presentations for a variety of channels. We're looking for a video editing professional who can quickly jump on projects, grasp and apply brand standards, and turn projects around quickly.

This role requires 2 days onsite, 3 days work from home.

Mac or PC and software provided onsite but must have own computer and software when working from home.

Software: After Effects, Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite

Video Editor Responsibilities
- Edit projects such as product walk-arounds for virtual shows, safety videos; military, commercial and aftermarket product sales and launch campaigns
- Incorporate work of various collaborators into one smooth editing workflow and timeline
- Cut shot sequences to create fluid, seamless scenes
- Sets up / executes fades, dissolves, cuts, keys and supers
- Mix audio and color correct
- Utilize scripts to become familiar with production concepts and requirements.
- Collaborate with team on production, storylines or editing approaches to increase drama or entertainment value
- Integrate script, score, sound and graphics into seamless stories
- Uphold global company look and feel across projects
- Manage projects with high degree of organization, detail, prioritization, timeliness and quality
