Our client is hiring a full-time Director of CRM. This will be fully remote, or hybrid in Phoenix, AZ.

* Must have eCommerce email experience to be considered.
* This role will have direct reports and this team is growing!

What you will be doing as a Director of CRM:
- Build, execute, monitor and optimize planned calendar campaigns and automated customer journey campaigns across various channels (Email/SMS/Direct Mail/etc.) using marketing automation platforms including Klaviyo and PostScript
- Plan, design and execute campaign testing strategies for creative, copy, audiences, etc. to identify opportunities for increased performance.
- Manage creative and production timelines for digital marketing and email creative assets.
- Manage digital assets with agency partners from creative/execution to reporting on performance
- Conduct QA of email, SMS, and other CRM marketing campaigns to ensure accuracy of content, linking, and tracking.
- Partner and support the development and management of digital marketing calendar, creative briefs and assist reporting for campaign hindsight presentations.
- Stay current on email/SMS best practices and industry standards, make recommendations continuously to improve our campaign templates, segmentation & targeting, personalization tactics, etc. to deliver on KPIs.
- Leverage customer data analytics tool to report and inform future segmentation, targeting and marketing strategies.
Report and analyze channel/campaign/segmentation performance results against KPI goals.
- Oversee direct mail marketing efforts including lifecycle
- Occasionally code email campaigns using HTML templates
- Design knowledge, ability to coordinate with internal and external design resources and project manage

What you need to know:
- 5+ years of overall experience in CRM and Email Marketing
- Hands-on experience setting up and executing campaigns in a marketing automation platform/ESP (e.g. Klaviyo, Emarsys, Listrak, Bronto, SFMC, etc.)
- Solid understanding of basic HTML for email coding, email best practices and standards
- Knowledge of email deliverability optimization and strategy, including tools such as MailMonitor
- Strong proficiency of web analytics to analyze campaigns and websites (Google Analytics preferred) with experience running A/B or multivariate campaign testing
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork, analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- High proficiency in Excel, knowledge of databases or dashboard tools a plus
- Previous e-commerce / DTC industry experience is preferred
- Experience managing large email lists (500K+) and driving revenue growth
- Bachelor?s degree
