UX Designer - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a pharmaceutical company located in downtown Boston, is seeking a UX Designer to join their team for a longer term freelance assignment.

This will be a 40hr/wk opportunity for six months, with the possibility of extension. Work will be offsite throughout the end of the year, then move to a hybrid capacity in 2022

Reporting to the Head of UX and UI as well as working alongside a team of 4, you will also work cross-functionally with the company on ongoing web, mobile apps, and user portals projects. The IDEAL candidate will be a proven UX Designer with a proven track record in user testing.

As the UX Designer, you will:
- Have a full understanding of design best practices and be able to speak to them in order to provide feedback or recommendations to internal team
- Create wireframes and/or visual mockups
- Organize and facilitate collaborative sessions to document processes, workflows, and ontology
- Represent UX team in development and implementation planning and scrum meetings
- Plan and conduct usability testing (in agile environment) 
- Capture user cases and user information
- Create, distribute, analyze, and share findings from internal research surveys
- Analyze and share findings from usability testing sessions
- Set metrics, benchmarks for usability testing
- Support creating presentations to stakeholders

Requirements Include:
- 3 to 7 years of experience integrating user experience into product designs and design practices
- Understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
- Experience with design and prototyping tools and technologies such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Dovetail, etc.
- Knowledge of Vue, React, or Angular a plus and strongly desired
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinkers with attention to detail highly encouraged to apply
