Our client, a global financial services company, needs to hire multiple PowerPoint Presentation Designers, for ongoing/long-term freelance roles, hybrid (onsite in NYC) 40 hours per week. These contract positions tend to extend for years!

The NY office location could vary, based on business needs, between Brooklyn or Manhattan but it will always be hybrid, onsite 3 days a week.

There are specific shifts/hours that must be worked, based on the needs of the bankers; please see all options below and let us know which schedule(s) you're interested in.

4 Weekdays Positions Available
Schedule A M-F 12PM-8:30 PM must have strong PPT skills
Schedule B M-F 3PM-11:30PM must have strong PPT skills
Schedule C - M-F 6PM-2:30AM requires strong PPT and design skills

3 Weekend Positions Available
Schedule Option D 4 days, 10 hours shift, plus lunch break. Must work Fri-Mon. Earliest shift start 12PM (the later the start, the better!)
Schedule Option E 5 days, 8 hours shift, plus lunch break. Must work Wed-Sun. Earliest shift start 12PM (the later the start, the better!)

They will reimburse up to $75/day for an Uber/car service when commuting home during off hours/after 10 PM - 5 AM).

They are a PC environment. A computer w/ design and PPT software is required at home for the test but everything is provided onsite once onboarded.

The hiring managers want to see relevant and current presentation and design work, that shows attention to detail (no duplicated slides or wrong titles, slides aligned properly and consistent formatting, etc.).

Presentation Designer Requirements
At least 4 years of professional experience in presentation design support at a corporate level
Expertise in using Keynote and PowerPoint to ensure consistency in the look, feel, and voice of internal and external presentations
Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a must
Financial experience is important (or at least with charts and graphs)
Mapping experience is a huge plus
They're a PC environment and a MAC can be used when working from home but a PC is easier and either way a 2nd screen is highly recommended

Presentation Designer Responsibilities
Create, produce, edit, and annotate graphic designs, multimedia files and documents in accordance with specifications, using a variety of high-end graphics applications
Receive feedback and apply this to continuous improvements in quality output, develop capabilities for innovation and service excellence
Work directly with investment bankers in a fast paced and quick turnaround environment
Work on complex slide enhancements and be able to tell a story with the flat work provided

There is also graphic design work in Illustrator and Photoshop but the majority is in PowerPoint. All Adobe elements created will be put into the presentation slides or Word doc. before the final deliverable is sent to the (internal) client, the bankers.

Soft skills: reliable, punctual, focused, professional, comfortable receiving and seeking out feedback, comfortable communicating directly with the bankers

Additional Details
There will be 4-6 weeks of onsite training in Brooklyn, Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM; then the regular shift hours will begin.

This will never be a fully remote role so please do not apply if you're not willing and able to be onsite in NY.

There will be a test project released 8/3 that shouldn't take more than 3 hours (but 24 hours will be provided to return it). Those who do well on the exercise will then be scheduled for an interview with the client!
