Our client, a cutting edge financial trading firm with a tech focus, is currently seeking a Copywriter to join their team, full time.

This opportunity is primarily focused on employer branding and internal recruiting for the company. Ideal copywriter will be highly articulate, with ability to balance direct yet creative writing with minimal fluff to attract different audiences and potential hires.

This is a hybrid opportunity with 3days/week onsite in the FiDi area of NYC. The office has an open floor plan, a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty, a fully stocked kitchen and catered breakfast + lunches!

Copywriter Responsibilities:
- Join the company as the sole copywriter focusing on a range of creative projects to recruit new employees and support some broader efforts to refine the company's tone and voice
- Work will focus primarily on recruitment writing at the start, working with multiple teams to understand their hiring goals and help craft compelling, high-quality copy for open positions
- Other work will include writing and editing print and digital content, including website copy, email campaigns, job postings, external recruiting materials, video scripts etc
- Identify the strategic goals of the content, and find ways to convey intended messages in an engaging way. This will include working closely with design to make sure the words fit the visuals
- Ability to context-switch quickly between projects, while maintaining continuity of tone and voice throughout the many parts of this firm, including recruiting, technology, trading, and more
- This is also a highly collaborative environment with quick rounds of edits and candid feedback. The right person will enjoy showing up to a blank canvas and brainstorming with colleagues from all different areas of expertise. You should have a humble attitude about what you know and dont know, and be unafraid to ask questions!

- Have 3-7+ years professional copy / writing experience, ideally with a wide range of clients staying nimble with ability to speak to different audiences
- Have excellent command of the English language; grammar, spelling, punctuation
- Be highly articulate with an intellectual curiosity and a creative approach that is direct but not cold (using strong buzz words)
- Portfolio required; should demonstrate an ability to attract and engage an audience across a variety of mediums
- Be comfortable working with and interacting with multiple team members to create bios, job descriptions and assist with marketing campaigns and initiatives for the company
- Must be comfortable asking questions, and communicating with team members at all levels
