Our client, an award winning boutique agency specializing in video-based campaigns, is seeking a Senior Creative / Video Producer join their team full time.

This opportunity is mostly remote with occasional onsite visits and onset locations in Industry City, Brooklyn, so candidates must be local to NYC area.

Our clients' capabilities span live action, motion graphics, and VR/AR for social, digital, and broadcast campaigns. They are a hybrid creative strategy and production agency, with commercial directors and producers in house. While the typical agency producer would bid for an outside production partner, edit house, etc. here, producers work with internal commercial directors to build out production crews for each project. As Senior Producer, you will join this growing agency and lead a team of two Producers and one Production Coordinator!

Senior Producer Responsibilities:
- Join and be the lead and mentor to two producers and one coordinator, while working alongside the Creative department to execute and improve creative (namely TV, social and digital ads)
- Represent a total mastery of the video production process including thorough knowledge of calendar planning, union and non-union budget projections, talent negotiations, legal and ethical risk, COVID safety, payroll/billing, confidentiality, and indemnification, etc.
- Provide internal client and agency production expertise (production travel planning, expense management, client material resourcing, etc.) as well as keep up to date with all industry best practices, informing internal teams and clients of all current and future industry protocols and initiatives
- Oversee internal production teams time management needs and delegate shoots / tasks accordingly
- Guide and mentor more junior members of the team, celebrating successes in addition to delivering precise and timely feedback and follow up
- Regularly contribute and expand upon the teams knowledge of production partners DPs, photographers, set crew, musicians, locations, new casting avenues, etc.
- Oversee quality control and closing out of projects in a thorough, consistent, and timely manner
- Always lend a positive hand and lead by example (internally and externally) no matter the challenge and recognize that, as an expert within the department the team and agency look to you for proactive, productive, and constructive leadership

Senior Producer Requirements:
- 6-8+ years of experience (including 1-2 year managerial) producing a range of video/audiovisual and photography content for TV, social channels, digital and OTT including large and low budget domestic and international productions, table-top and animation
- Proven knowledge and network of production partners and crew
- Advanced knowledge of the production process including significant experience and knowledge regarding union and non-union talent, BA, insurance, and international (non-US) productions
- Excited to work in a small team where you have tons of responsibility and room to grow
- Experience managing junior producers, being a mentor
- Fiscally responsible, experience working on shoots with scrappy budgets 200-300k total
- Super detail oriented and hyper organized
- An absolute self-starter with a get-the-job-done mentality
- Willing and able to travel for shoots, including international shoots (rare but could happen! most shoots are in NYC)
