Our client, a leading name in B2B insurance, is looking to hire a freelance Editor/Content Manager for a 6 month role, fully remote. The hours may be around 20 per week for the first few weeks, while getting up to speed, but long-term the plan is 35 hours/week.

The Editor / Content Manager will support our clients new global content Center of Excellence (COE) and the team is growing so this could turn into a full-time role.

The COE provides editorial governance and best practices at a global level, and oversees content strategy. The team is responsible for the ongoing oversight, analysis, development, and production of digital content at scaleincluding a broad range of marketing and communications assets and thought leadership.

Editor/Content Manager Responsibilities:
General editorial administrative and production tasks
Help manage editorial calendar and content development lifecycle
Traffic content between content agency/freelance writers and the various stakeholders responsible for reviewing and approving content (including visual and/or interactive content (photo editing, video production, graphics, data visualizations, PDFs)
Develop content briefs/assignments; edit and proofread content
Interact with a network of freelancers and agencies to support content development (articles, white papers, videos, infographics, mages, chubb.com product and services pages, and other resources)
Monitor content performance; develop actionable insights; identify content opportunities; provide editorial SEO support

Editor/Content Manager Requirements:
At least 3 years of work experience (ideally some from writing/editing)
An understanding of digital content
Excellent project management skills
Experience in B2B and/or finance is a plus
