Our client, a financial services company, is looking to hire a full-time Corporate Communications Writer, hybrid onsite in Jersey City, NJ a couple of days per week (their office is easily commutable by multiple forms of transportation).

The ideal Corporate Communications Writer has a storytelling and creative approach to their writing since the writing pieces will be geared towards the company culture, the people, and the company's direction, community involvement, etc., as opposed to the marketing/product side of the business.

The Writer will create content that articulates our client's story to internal and external audiences through various channels (e.g. websites, intranet, public relations, social media, videos etc.).

Day to day it's a mix of long-form and short-form deliverables.

Corporate Communications Writer Duties:
? Create engaging content that communicates the story, strengthens the culture, and advances the brand
? Think strategically and globally
? Own projects from inception through completion
? Collaborate with team members and colleagues across the firm, including senior leaders
? Communicate with transparency and respect
? Create and execute strategic communications plans alongside the Director of Brand Management

Corporate Communications Writer Qualifications:
? 3+ years? experience as a writer and content creator (agency or in-house)
? Financial services experience is not required, just the desire to learn the industry
? Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with leadership
? Samples showcasing experience writing a variety of deliverables (web content, intranet content, newsletters, public relations, social media, speeches, etc.)
? A passion for inspiring and informing people
? Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment (a journalism background could be helpful but is not required)
? Strong editing and proofreading skills
? Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate closely with investment and marketing professionals
? Fluency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
? BA/BS degree required, MA/MS degree preferred
