Our client, a biopharmaceutical company located in Boston, is seeking a Communications Manager to join their team for a long-term freelance opportunity - starting immediately!

In this role, you will report directly to and work alongside the Vice President of Corporate Communications. You will be an integral part of the company's multichannel strategy in both tactical and strategic components.

As Communications Manager you will be responsible for:
- Writing: internal and consumer communications such as white papers, emails, website material, etc. in terms of drafting, editing and publishing
- Internal Communications: organizing meetings, creating presentations, cross-departmental collaboration, etc.
- Social Media: content creation, planning and posting
- Website: content management

The IDEAL Communications Manager will have:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry (biotech or pharma preferred)
- STRONG verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance strategy and implementation as needed
- Understanding of Creative Suite (design skills a plus), Social Media channels, and Microsoft Suite strongly desired
- Writing samples

This opportunity will be remote for the time being, with potential for onsite needs as allowed. 20 hours to start, but will likely ramp up to 40/wk by September. Work is slated to go through the end of the year.
