Our financial client is looking for a Manager, Events to join their team for 6+ months starting in September. As the Manager, Events you will be responsible for creative development and delivery of global event experiences, bringing high-profile events to life through strategic and thoughtful creative concepts and leveraging technology to engage a global audience.

As the Manager, Events you will be:
- Developing creative storyboards and mood boards and pitching event ideas and concepts through compelling visual communications and storytelling.
- Providing guidance on how best to engage audiences through technology and other creative tactics.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to gain approvals on proposals and recommendations.
- Identifying opportunities to create and deliver impactful global events by understanding and translating business objectives and priorities into moments for experiences.
- Developing event briefs and turning them into creative pitches and presentations
- Developing metrics to measure the success of events and impact on attendee sentiment.
- Collaborating with brand & creative colleagues to ensure appropriate branding is represented.
- Supporting video creation, producing and editing.
- Coordinating and leading project team meetings to ensure production timelines and deliverables are met.
- Sourcing and managing partnerships with external vendors and ensuring that services are delivered in line with the statement of work.
- Managing and reconciling program budgets.

Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of the event planning industry, including working with Third Party experiential companies, speakers, and technical production companies.
- Proven experience in working with various virtual platforms.
- Extensive experience working with creative and technology production teams.
- Global corporate or agency experience is a plus.
- Ability to build effective relationships and establish credibility with stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with C-level executives.
- Experience managing unforeseen circumstances and stressful situations, such as challenges/disruptions with technology during events.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to forecast outcomes in a changing environment, and respond accordingly.
- Proven project management skills, including overseeing multiple projects, concurrently.
- Self-starter highly motivated, striving for continual improvement in both personal skills and production quality.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
